Our business tax advisory professionals help clients through the challenges of planning, tax compliance and maintaining effective relationships with the tax authorities. They work with organizations and individuals to structure transactions and operations in a tax-effective manner. This includes helping clients to mitigate tax risk, comply effectively with tax laws and take into account the prospect of change.
Your key responsibilities
As Senior Tax Consultant you will be responsible for contributing efficient and successful delivery of tax services to the client as well as build and maintain relationships both within the firm and externally with clients, identifying opportunities and managing expectations. Everything you will do will come back to providing exceptional tax services for our clients. Colleagues and clients from a diverse array of backgrounds will look to you first for answers, so you'll be a high- profile contact when it comes to resolving complex issues. As you build your knowledge and experience, your will become a credible advisor, influencing clients and engagement teams on resolutions that will impact entire industries. Working closely with colleagues, you will determine whether the work plan is properly executed, documented and concluded. As an influential member of the team, you will help to create a positive learning culture, will coach and counsel junior team members and help them to develop.

To qualify for the role you must have
Finance or Law qualification;
Experience in tax consulting/advisory;
Experience in tax accounting/tax audit;
Proven ability to read and interpret existing and new tax (and other related) law;
Excellent communication skills both writing and oral;
Advanced Azerbaijani is a competitive advantage.
Ideally, you'll also have
Project management skills, plan work, meet deadlines, monitor own budget
Proficient IT skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)
ACCA qualified or ACCA student with at least (F1, F2, F3, F7) papers
